Nestled along the Pranburi river and surrounded by wooded hills, 20 km south of Hua Hin (the so-called Wellness Heartland of Thailand), Racer Marina was established in December 2014 by four businessmen, all passionate about the yachting world, who shared their experiences from Ibiza to Miami, Phuket and St Tropez. Their common vision, energy, and investment transformed an unattended and poorly managed facility into a European-managed marina with excellent marine facilities and support staff.
Racer Marina, located one nautical mile inland in scenic surroundings with a mangrove forest overlooked by the Chao Mae Tubtim Thong Shrine (the shrine of the Goddess Tubtim) and just thirty minutes from Hua Hin, is the perfect haven for yachts. It offers comprehensive facilities and services, making it truly a one-stop service centre for boat owners.
A similar philosophy applies to Racer Marina’s main building, which combines the administrative office, the ship chandler store, luxury accommodation, and a coffee shop overlooking the wet berths. This peaceful environment offers opportunities to observe wildlife, both aquatic (more than eight species of fish roam the marina) and terrestrial (cormorants, egrets, wild peacocks, and monitor lizards are frequent visitors).
Racer Marina provides two studios and one two-bedroom apartment, comfortably furnished and available for rent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Separate shower and toilet facilities are provided for visiting crews. Offices for rent are also available, offering a quiet location with easy access to Hua Hin.
The ship chandler shop offers a wide range of parts, accessories, and chemicals to meet boat owners’ daily needs, with special orders available upon request.
Racer Marina’s in-house workshop manufactures stainless steel and aluminium parts, both standard and custom designs, while offering comprehensive maintenance services. The marina aims to be the go-to service centre for boat owners.
