The International Series golf tournament has made its third donation to the Bright Dawn Foundation, contributing $25,000 (approximately 827,000 THB) to aid the foundation’s mission of improving the lives of disadvantaged children in rural areas of Hua Hin.
The funds will be directed toward healthcare services and educational initiatives in five primary schools across Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. This donation was announced during the recent International Series Thailand tournament, held at the Thai Country Club in Chachoengsao Province.
Rahul Singh, Director of the International Series, underscored the tournament’s commitment to community support: “Charitable initiatives are at the heart of the International Series’ mission. We are committed to giving back to the communities that welcome and sustain our events.”
Singh further explained the motivation behind the donation:
“Opportunity is what drives everything we do at the International Series. Through this donation, we aim to empower the Bright Dawn Foundation to continue its essential work, helping underprivileged families and enhancing their quality of life.”
The Bright Dawn Foundation, established in 2010, focuses on assisting children from low-income families in rural Hua Hin. The organisation provides vital services, including school meals, clothing, health checks, and educational programmes, with a particular emphasis on English, technology, and vocational skills training.
In addition to its core initiatives, the foundation undertakes special projects such as building and renovating libraries, classrooms, computer rooms, canteens, and multipurpose spaces to create a more enriching learning environment.
