Hua Hin City Municipality has submitted a funding request totalling 405,957,500 baht to the Subcommittee on Local Administration, with the aim of supporting core public services and improving local water infrastructure.
On 4 July, Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mayor of Hua Hin City, joined by Mr. Jeerawat Prammanee, Hua Hin City Municipality Permanent Secretary, Ms. Kanokwan Sriaroon, Director of the Strategy and Budget Division, and other municipal officials, attended a session at the Parliament Building in Bangkok to present the city’s funding proposal.
The session took place in the CB 402 Committee Meeting Room on the 4th floor of the House of Representatives, as part of the Special Committee’s deliberations on the Draft Annual Budget Act for the 2026 fiscal year.
The funding request is divided into two parts. The first is a general grant totalling 349,345,000 baht, which would support the provision of key public services in education, social welfare, and administrative operations.
The second is a specific-purpose grant request of 56,612,500 baht. This funding would be allocated to a single infrastructure project: the construction of a raw water pumping station and the installation of pumps to transfer water from the Pranburi Dam to the local water production facility.
The total proposed budget of over 405 million baht reflects the municipality’s intention to maintain and develop essential services and infrastructure for Hua Hin’s growing population.
