Huahin Surf Paradise 2026 created a lively atmosphere at Hua Don Beach over the weekend, as surf lovers from across Thailand gathered in Hua Hin for two days of competition, music and community activities aimed at strengthening the country’s water sports scene.

The event, held on 21–22 February in Khao Takiab, was officially opened by Pol Col Samer Yusamran, adviser to the Mayor of Hua Hin City, who represented the mayor at the ceremony. Among those in attendance were Hua Hin District Chief Kittichai Srithongchuay, television personality Niti “Pompaem” Chaichitathorn, Putthiphong “Baitarn” Pornlert, managing director of Rising Creation Company Limited, Yaowapha “View” Buraphonchai of The Legend Arena, and Chaisit Chan-awut, owner of Pineapple Surf Club, along with partners, influencers and a large number of surf enthusiasts.

First launched in 2021, Huahin Surf Paradise 2026 marked the festival’s fifth consecutive year and coincided with the 20th anniversary of Rising Creation Company Limited. The event was originally initiated by the Pineapple Surf Club team to highlight Hua Don–Hua Hin Beach as a viable surf destination capable of standing alongside more established locations.

Over the years, organisers have focused on building a network of sea and water sports enthusiasts, helping to position Hua Hin as a recognised destination for surfing and related activities. The festival now attracts both Thai and international visitors, serving not only as a competition platform but also as a meeting point for surfers to exchange ideas and experiences.

Surf competitions, music and community activities

Surf competitions at Huahin Surf Paradise 2026 covered multiple disciplines, including surfboard, skimboard and jet surf events. Children’s competitions were organised in under-8 and under-15 categories, while a surfboard contest for pets, grouped by weight, added a light-hearted element to the programme.

Beyond the competitive events, the beachfront festival offered art workshops, food and drink stalls and pop-up outlets from well-known restaurants. Brand booths from companies such as Ripcurl, Voidshop, So Dope and NSP were also present, showcasing products and engaging with visitors.

Entertainment formed a central part of the schedule, with live performances from artists including Por Yokee Playboy, Venn and The Youth Alright. Leading DJs provided music from midday through to midnight, maintaining a steady flow of visitors across both days.

Influencers and celebrities attended throughout the weekend, contributing to a busy and colourful scene along the shoreline. Organisers said the aim of Huahin Surf Paradise 2026 was not only to stage competitive events but to strengthen the sense of community among water sports participants and promote Hua Hin as a year-round destination for beach activities.
