Hua Hin Food Fest 2026 will take place this weekend at Hua Don Beach in Khao Takiab, bringing together local restaurants, hotels, live entertainment and nightly fireworks from 28–30 August.
More than 10,000 Thai and international visitors are expected to attend the three-day event, which aims to promote Hua Hin as a food tourism destination and support tourism during the green season.
The opening ceremony will be presided over by Prachuap Khiri Khan Governor Dr Sittichai Sawatsan.
To mark the opening, Hua Hin City Municipality and the local chefs’ club will prepare 500 portions of “Hua Hin International Pad Thai” in a giant pan. The dish combines seafood associated with Hua Hin with pasta and will be distributed free to visitors.
Food, competitions and activities

Organisers said the festival will feature food from 46 hotels in Hua Hin, alongside around 100 restaurants and other food vendors.
Activities will include a Som Tam Dance Competition, dessert-making competitions, creative cooking contests and other culinary activities.
Another attraction will be an ice-carving display featuring Thai boxing legend Pone Kingpetch alongside the 100-year-old Baldwin Mikado 305 steam locomotive associated with Hua Hin Railway Station.
Mayor Nopporn Wutthikul said this year’s festival would be larger than previous editions, with more food choices and stage performances.
The event is being supported by provincial and district authorities, Hua Hin City Municipality, tourism and business associations, chefs’ clubs and local restaurants.
Hua Hin Food Fest fireworks and concerts

Entertainment will continue each evening with live music, lighting displays, illuminated dancing fountains and colourful hot-air balloons along the beachfront.
Fireworks will take place at 9pm on each of the festival’s three nights.
The concert line-up features JSPKK on 28 August, MAIYARAP and Lek Ratchamet on 29 August, and Ja Nongpanee on 30 August.
The municipality said it plans to use visitor numbers and other event data to help develop Hua Hin Food Fest into an annual event with a fixed date, allowing it to be included in future Tourism Authority of Thailand calendars.
Hua Hin Food Fest 2026 runs from Friday, 28 August to Sunday, 30 August at Hua Don Beach, Khao Takiab. Admission is free.
