Chiva-Som Hua Hin concludes 2026 with a calendar of holistic wellness experiences and festive celebrations
Transformative holistic wellness destination Chiva-Som Hua Hin has unveiled a calendar of complimentary experiences for the final quarter of 2026. From October to December, guests can embrace the grounding qualities of Earth, the final element of Thai Traditional Medicine (TTM), through movement classes, sound healing experiences and expert-led talks designed to enhance strength, stability and balance. Alongside the wellness programme, seasonal celebrations including Loy Krathong – as well as the international festivals of Christmas and New Year – will offer opportunities to experience Thai culture and connect through shared traditions with exclusive stay privileges.
A philosophy that has complemented Chiva-Som’s holistic approach for more than three decades, TTM is centred on harmony between body, mind and environment, with sensitivity to nature’s rhythms and seasonal shifts. At its heart are the Four Elements, or Dhatu: Fire, Wind, Water and Earth. Representing the body’s solid structures, Earth is associated with form, strength, stability, posture and resilience. The final quarter’s rich complimentary programme will also welcome certified international yoga instructor, Adrienne Everett.
The final months of the year offer an appealing time to experience Hua Hin, with cooler temperatures creating ideal conditions for outdoor wellness and time spent by the sea. From movement sessions to restorative moments along the coast, the destination’s seaside setting complements Chiva-Som’s holistic approach.

October – Earth Element: Movement, Clarity, and Stability
Thai Wisdom for Element Balance (bi-monthly): Led by Senior TTM Practitioner and Holistic Therapist Chananchida Banyeam, this immersive session explores the Four Elements and their application across holistic treatments, nutrition, lifestyle, and daily rituals.
Tibetan Bowls Sound Bath (7 October/11 November): A meditative sound experience using vibrational frequencies to release tension, calm the mind, and restore inner balance, promoting overall wellbeing and mindfulness led by the resort’s Holistic Therapist.
Lumbopelvic Rhythm Exercise (4 October/11 October/18 October/25 October): This exercise focuses on the coordinated relationship between the lumbar spine and pelvis, helping reduce pain intensity while improving functional ability and muscle endurance. A natural and healthy posture of the pelvis supports a natural and healthy posture of the lumbar spine. When pelvic posture is compromised, it can lead to postural distortions in the lumbar spine and further up the thoracic and cervical spine.
Earth Energy Embrace (22 October/20 November/18 December): Inspired by the ancient wisdom of Thai Traditional Medicine and the grounding power of the Earth element, this session explores the element’s role in supporting strength, stability and vitality as the body ages. Through holistic practices and grounding techniques, participants will learn to recognise signs of imbalance and restore harmony through natural therapies and wellness treatments.
World Mental Health Day Special – Cultivating a Positive Mind (10 October): Guided by Theelon Kurusattra, Licensed Mental Health & Wellness Specialist, this session offers practical insights into improving mindful awareness to recognise and transform habitual patterns into supportive routines, strengthening mental resilience for a more balanced and fulfilling life.
World Food Day Special – Beyond Calories: Nourishment as the True Measure of Health (16 October): Led by Keletso Kelosiwang, Resident Naturopath & Nutrition Specialist, this educational wellness talk will explore mindful eating and nutrient-rich food choices beyond calorie counting to support lasting vitality, balanced energy, and overall well-being.

November – Earth Element: Flow, Restoration, and Emotional Balance
Joint Retraining Classes (2 November/9 November/16 November/23 November/30 November): Through proprioceptive exercises that draw on Ai Chi techniques and Berg balance training, guests will develop a clearer sense of joint position while improving body awareness, balance, coordination, core strength and muscular control. The session is designed to support safer, more confident movements.
Yoga with certified instructor Adrienne Everett (7 – 9 November): During her sessions at Chiva-Som Hua Hin, Adrienne will use her natural energy and vast experience to help others unlock their truest sense of self and forge a deep inner connection.
Power Sculpt (7 November) – A full-body strength class that combines controlled resistance training with intentional movement to build lean muscle, improve endurance, and enhance stability.
The Adrienne Method (8 November) – Adrienne’s signature class; a dynamic, strength-based practice designed to build endurance, focus, and resilience while leaving guests feeling energised and empowered. Open to all levels, with modifications provided where needed.
Yoga Stretch (8 November) – A gentle, restorative class focused on improving flexibility, releasing tension, and creating space through mindful movement and breathwork, leaving guests feeling calm, mobile, and restored.
Slow Vinyasa Flow (9 November) – A slower-paced vinyasa practice that combines mindful movement with breath to create a deeply grounding and restorative experience. Suitable for all levels.
Loy Krathong Festival (24 November 2026): This year’s celebrations will take on the theme “The Spirit of Loy Krathong”, celebrating the unique culture, traditions and charm of Thailand’s four distinct regions. Held on the night of the full moon in November, Loy Krathong is one of Thailand’s most cherished festivals, with “Loy” meaning “to float” and “Krathong” referring to a small, intricately crafted basket traditionally made from banana leaves.
Guests will have the opportunity to embrace this beautiful tradition through a programme of cultural activities throughout the day, beginning with a Krathong Contest, where they can admire and vote for their favourite floating basket creations designed by the resort’s staff. Later in the day a Traditional Thai Parade will make its way from the Open Lounge to the swimming pool, featuring a vibrant Long Drum Dance. The celebrations will continue into the evening with a BBQ Dinner, hosted by Taste of Siam and accompanied by traditional Thai music and classical Thai dance performances. The evening will culminate with the announcement of the winning Krathong team, before guests gather to float the beautifully crafted Krathongs in the swimming pool, embracing the spirit of renewal, gratitude and togetherness at the heart of this much-loved Thai tradition.

December – Earth Element: Grounding, Stability, and Renewal
Christmas Eve BBQ Dinner (24 December): The Christmas Eve BBQ dinner will take place at the resort’s Taste of Siam restaurant accompanied by a live piano performance, followed by Christmas carol singing by local children.
Christmas Day (25 December): A special Christmas Day brunch at Taste of Siam with a live acoustic guitar performance.
New Years Eve – ‘Where Culture Comes to Life: An Evening of Thai Heritage’ (31 December, additional cost): Guests are invited to dress in elegant attire inspired by contemporary Thai style, incorporating Thai elements through distinctive fabrics, patterns or accessories, before joining a cocktail party to begin the evening’s celebrations. The festivities will continue with a New Year’s Eve BBQ dinner set around the pool, accompanied by live music and a DJ. A captivating programme of Thai-inspired performances will bring the evening to life, including a traditional Thai drum performance, a young Nora dancer, Thai martial arts and the powerful Spirit of Thai Warriors, creating a memorable New Year’s Eve celebration that honours the richness and vibrancy of Thai culture
New Year’s Day (1 January 2027): Guests are invited to participate in Alms Giving at the resort’s Tai Chi Pavilion, a significant cultural event that marks the beginning of the new year, followed by breakfast and brunch with live acoustic guitar music.
