What’s happening at Dance by the Sea

Activities begin at 4pm with free, voluntary health checks provided by staff from the municipal public health service centre. Services will include blood pressure checks, finger-prick blood glucose tests and body composition analysis, along with health advice.
A Health Talk session will feature Miss Wellness and fitness instructor and influencer “Kru Tum”, sharing tips on staying in shape and looking after your health. A bilingual presenter will host the discussion in Thai and English.
Following the opening ceremony, participants can join seaside aerobics and dance sessions led by Kru Tum.
Supporting Cha-am’s wellness plans
The event forms part of the municipality’s “Cha-am Wellness City” initiative, which aims to develop the town as a wellness tourism destination while encouraging regular exercise among residents.
Cha-am Mayor Nukul Pornsomboonsiri said the campaign brings together local organisations to promote healthier habits and improve residents’ quality of life. It also aims to support the local creative economy.
The mayor chaired a planning meeting at Cha-am Municipal Office with municipal officials and representatives from the agencies involved ahead of Saturday’s launch.
