If you’re looking for a picture-perfect outing near Hua Hin, head to Wat Huay Mongkol, where the sunflower field is now in full bloom.
You’ll find the flowers in the field behind the Luang Phor Thuad statue, along the road leading to the large Phra Phuttha Sothon Buddha image.
Enter the temple grounds, park your car or motorbike and follow the road past the coffee shop and then turn right and keep on going.
Over the years, Wat Huay Mongkol has planted hundreds of rai of sunflowers and is normally part of an attraction during the New Year for tourists.
Hurry, though—these sunflowers are expected to remain in bloom for the next week or so, depending on the weather.
