Queen’s Park 19 Rai – Hua Hin’s only seaside public park
Queen’s Park 19 Rai is Hua Hin’s only public park located right by the sea, offering both residents and visitors a place to relax, exercise, and enjoy coastal views. Built in 2004, the park serves as a popular venue for community events and a daily retreat for people looking to spend time outdoors.
Seaside public park
The main park area is open and airy, with a cooling sea breeze and trees providing shade throughout the day. On one side, exercise equipment is available for adults, while a children’s playground sits on the other. Steps at the front of the park lead down towards the water, where visitors can sit and enjoy views along Hua Hin’s coastline.

Early mornings often see groups taking part in yoga sessions as the sun rises, while others stroll along the pathways or enjoy a picnic with friends and family. A small weekend market and mobile vendors selling drinks and snacks add to the atmosphere. The park has also been used as a venue for events such as the Hua Hin Food Festival.
Activity and sports area
Opposite the main park is a large activity area with courts for badminton, futsal, basketball, sepak takraw, and volleyball. The space is regularly used by local athletes, while casual players and visitors also join in. Around the courts, people walk, exercise, and meet up with friends throughout the day.
Located in Hua Hin, the park was built on land that once served as a boat landing point for the local fishing community. Before its development, the site was a tidal area connected to a creek, allowing rainwater to flow into the sea.
Today, Queen’s Park 19 Rai covers a total of 19 rai and continues to be an important community space, providing a coastal location for leisure, sport, and public gatherings.
