The two suspects, aged 41 and 38, are both residents of Mueang district. Police reported that the information was passed to senior officers and further evidence was gathered to support an arrest.

The second suspect faces charges of possession with intent to distribute, causing drugs to spread among the public and attempted sale for commercial purposes. Both have been taken into custody for further legal proceedings.

Preeda said the seizure of 54,000 methamphetamine pills represented a significant quantity and reflected ongoing coordinated work by Border Patrol Police Sub-Division 14 to expand investigations and suppress drug distribution in the province.

He said the operation would help reduce the spread of narcotics in the area and reiterated that Prachuap Khiri Khan remains committed to tackling drug offences.
