Hua Hin residents showed high interest for “Hearing Aid Day,” held at Be Well’s Belvida location on November 11.
The event, organized by Be Well Medical Center in partnership with hearing care specialists from Audimed, aimed to inform locals about the causes of hearing loss and introduce them to the latest hearing aid technologies.
The morning kicked off with a seminar at Belvida’s Coral restaurant, offering a practical guide on hearing health and technology options by Audimed’s audiologists Khun Kanang Dermtoranin and Khun Suchanun Nuadpram.
The audiologists explained the negative effect hearing loss can have on other medical or mental conditions of patients and stressed the importance of early detection and treatment.
After the seminar, audiologists supported by the Be Well doctors conducted complimentary hearing tests and consultations at Be Well’s clinic. The high demand for appointments meant the slots filled up quickly, leaving a few residents having to schedule their session on December 1 when the Audimed team will return.
A Partnership for Local Hearing Health
This event marks the start of a regular partnership between Be Well and Audimed, which will bring Audimed’s specialists to Hua Hin on a regular basis. Hua Hin residents can look forward to a range of services, including diagnostic tests, consultations, and repair services for most hearing aids, even if bought elsewhere.
