Buddhist Lent Candle Festival to be held at Hua Hin Railway Station

Hua Hin Municipality will hold the Buddhist Lent Candle Festival 2026 at the Old Hua Hin Railway Station on 23 and 24 July.

Residents and visitors are invited to take part in the two-day event, which aims to preserve an important Thai Buddhist tradition and encourage the public to learn more about local religious and cultural practices.

Activities will begin on Thursday, 23 July, from 3pm to 8pm, with traditional Thai music performances and an opportunity for members of the public to help make Buddhist Lent candles.

The programme will continue from 3pm on Friday, 24 July, with further candle-making activities, a Dhamma discussion and traditional Thai music.

Water-pouring ceremony to dedicate merit
