Hua Hin Ladies’ ‘Rice Would Be Nice’ drive collects more than a tonne of rice and essential supplies

Hua Hin Ladies’ annual Rice Would Be Nice donation drive has delivered another strong outcome this year, supporting Jungle Aid and several villages in need across the region. The 2025 campaign, which brings together members of Hua Hin’s community along with local businesses and major hotels, collected more than 1,300 kilogrammes of rice and a wide range of essential household goods.

According to organisers, the Rice Would Be Nice collection will help supply food and basic necessities to partner villages, including a school that uses around 300 kilogrammes of rice each month to provide lunches for 200 children. The latest donations will support the school for almost three and a half months.

The Rice Would Be Nice drive received contributions from residents, Hua Hin Ladies members, and participating hotels and businesses, with organisers noting a significant amount of towels, bedding and clothing donated this year.
