TOEFL ITP testing centre opens at Hua Hin School
Hua Hin School has partnered with the Institute of International Education (IIE), Inc. to open a TOEFL ITP testing centre, giving students and other candidates in Prachuap Khiri Khan easier access to internationally recognised English-language assessment.
The school, located in Hua Hin district, held an official memorandum of understanding signing ceremony with IIE on 28 June 2026 to establish the TOEFL ITP English Testing Centre at Hua Hin School.
The centre is intended to serve students and candidates from Prachuap Khiri Khan and nearby areas, reducing the need to travel elsewhere for English proficiency testing.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr Seksan Khiaokrai, Director of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Secondary Educational Service Area Office, who delivered a welcoming speech.
He was joined by senior education officials, Dr Suchart Huthip, Director of Hua Hin School, and members of the school’s management team.
Representatives from IIE included Dr Jonathan Lembright, IIE Regional Director for Southeast Asia, and Dr Sinchai Lekwanichkul, TOEFL ITP Testing Administration Manager for Thailand. They joined the signing ceremony and presented the official certificate recognising Hua Hin School as a certified test centre.
School aims to support international opportunities

The partnership aims to help raise and benchmark Thai education standards against international standards, while strengthening English-language skills among secondary school students.
TOEFL ITP results can support students applying for higher education, scholarships and other opportunities requiring proof of English proficiency.
Following the ceremony, the new testing centre held its first TOEFL ITP examination. Secondary school students from Hua Hin School and other schools in its network took part.
Hua Hin School and IIE said they are committed to developing the centre as an effective local hub for language learning and assessment for the wider community in Prachuap Khiri Khan.
