A press conference announcing the upcoming “Imagination on a Plate” food festival was held on October 3, 2026, at Im Oak Im Jai Restaurant in Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The press conference was chaired by Pramuk Mueangchanthaburi, President of Sam Roi Yot Subdistrict Administrative Organisation, and attended by representatives from the local food, hospitality and tourism sectors.

Around 40 food booths will offer Thai and international visitors the opportunity to discover and taste a wide variety of regional dishes and local specialties.

Among the highlights will be fresh pla kulae served with dipping sauce, fresh prawns with dipping sauce, hor mok steamed curry, grilled ngob, fish cakes and other traditional dishes. Dr. Jitsirikorn said the festival is being organised to welcome visitors travelling to Hua Hin and Prachuap Khiri Khan during the final quarter of 2026, while also showcasing the diversity of local and regional cuisine.

Thai and international visitors are invited to come to Hua Hin from October 16–18 and experience the flavours, traditions and creativity of the “Imagination on a Plate” food festival.
