Hua Hin Today Connect drew a full house on Thursday evening as Hua Hin’s new monthly business networking event continued at THE SKY, Holiday Inn Resort Vana Nava Hua Hin.

The event, held on 20 August, brought together more than 100 people from across Hua Hin’s business community, including business owners, entrepreneurs, hospitality operators, property professionals, service providers and other local decision-makers.

It was the second Hua Hin Today Connect event, following the successful launch at NH Hua Hin in July.

The monthly event was created to provide a regular platform for local businesspeople to meet, make new contacts and build connections in a relaxed setting.

Jonathan Fairfield, editor of Hua Hin Today, said the response to the first two events had shown the strength and variety of Hua Hin’s business community.

“We have been really pleased with the response to Hua Hin Today Connect,” he said. “The August event was a full house, and it was great to see such a strong mix of people from different sectors meeting, talking and making useful connections.

“It shows what many of us already know, that Hua Hin has a thriving and varied business community. The aim now is to keep building on that and create a regular event where people can connect each month.”

Hua Hin Today thanked those who attended the event, as well as event sponsors Monsoon Valley Vineyard and the team at Holiday Inn Resort Vana Nava Hua Hin for hosting the evening.

Next Hua Hin business networking event with BCCT

The next networking event will take place on Friday 18 September, when Hua Hin Today teams up with the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand for Connecting Hua Hin at Centara Grand Beach Resort Hua Hin.

BCCT already holds regular networking events in Hua Hin, with Hua Hin Today as a media partner. The September event will bring together businesspeople from Hua Hin, Bangkok and the wider Western Seaboard.

Jonathan said the collaboration would give Hua Hin businesses the chance to connect with people and organisations they may not normally meet.

“This is a great opportunity to show Bangkok and the wider business community what is happening here in Hua Hin,” he said. “There are a lot of interesting businesses and people here, and events like this help create connections that can lead to new opportunities.”

Registrations for the September event are being handled by BCCT.
