Five hotels in and around Hua Hin awarded 2026 Michelin Keys

Five hotels in and around Hua Hin have been recognised in the 2026 Michelin Key selection, with Chiva-Som Hua Hin and Devasom Hua Hin joining the list for the first time.

Both properties received One Michelin Key, alongside Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa, V Villas Hua Hin and Aleenta Resort & Spa, Hua-Hin. The local selection spans Hua Hin, Cha-am and Pranburi.

The awards recognise the quality of the overall hotel experience. Michelin describes One Key as “a very special stay”, with inspectors assessing factors including design, service, character, value for money and the hotel’s relationship with its surroundings.

Chiva-Som Hua Hin

Chiva-Som Hua Hin was also highlighted in Michelin’s overview of Thailand’s wellness hotels. The beachfront retreat in Nong Kae places wellness programmes and spa treatments at the centre of its guest experience. Its accommodation includes rooms and pavilions set among landscaped gardens, with interiors influenced by traditional Thai design.

Devasom Hua Hin, located between Cha-am and Hua Hin, offers rooms, suites and villas in a beachfront setting.

Michelin’s description highlights its architecture inspired by Thai tradition, decorative interiors and village-style layout, which gives the boutique property a sense of privacy. Facilities include an infinity pool and a restaurant.

Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa draws on the layout and architecture of a traditional Thai village. The seaside resort offers rooms and suites overlooking gardens or the Gulf of Thailand, alongside restaurants, swimming pools and a spa.

V Villas Hua Hin, part of the MGallery collection, offers villa accommodation with private swimming pools, sundecks and personalised butler service. The beachfront property in Nong Kae also has a sea-facing infinity pool, a spa and a restaurant.

V Villas Hua Hin

Further south, Aleenta Resort & Spa, Hua-Hin is in Pak Nam Pran, Pranburi. Originally a family holiday home, the property developed into a collection of suites and villas. Michelin’s description notes its residential feel, beachfront location, spa and dining options.

Across Thailand, 71 hotels received Michelin Keys in the 2026 selection: six earned Three Keys, 22 received Two Keys and 43 were awarded One Key. Three Keys is the guide’s highest hotel distinction.

The Michelin Key system serves a similar role for hotels to Michelin Stars for restaurants. The hotel assessment considers the complete stay, from the quality and consistency of service to architecture, interior design and the property’s individual character.
