Hua Hin Takes a Journey Back in Time Through Music at “Harmony of Time”
Around 2,000 residents and visitors attended the “Hua Hin Through the Years: Harmony of Time” concert on 12 September, featuring Pink Panther and other veteran Thai performers.
Former Deputy Prime Minister Suwat Liptapanlop presided over the opening at 6pm.
Pink Panther was led by Wichai Punyayan, Winai Phanturak and Wirat Yuvathorn, known collectively as the “Three W’s”. Other performers included National Artist Suda Chuenban and Prawit Phongthanani, founder of the band Freebirds.
The programme featured songs including “Rak Nee Puea Ther” (This Love Is for You), “Koy Ther Kuen Ma” (Waiting for You to Return) and “Hua Hin Sin Mon Rak” (Hua Hin Without the Magic of Love).
Guests included National Artist Patravadi Mejudhon, founder of Patravadi Hua Hin; Wasana Srikanjana, adviser to the Hua Hin Tourism Business Association; Chomphunuch Jamilin Sathananda, president of the Lions Club of Hua Hin; and Charanya Sa-ngiemphansiri.
Founded around 1976, Pink Panther is known for its easy-listening sound. The concert revisited the band’s music nearly 50 years after its formation.
