The third RUN KHAN DO event will take place across Prachuap Khiri Khan from March to July 2026, with officials confirming that preparations are now under way to deliver a larger and more varied programme this year.
On 25 February 2026, Mr Preeda Sukjai, Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan, chaired a planning meeting at the Provincial Office of Tourism and Sports to review progress and coordinate arrangements for RUN KHAN DO 2026. The meeting was attended by First Lieutenant Sitthichai Tantasit, Provincial Tourism and Sports Officer, along with heads of government departments, tourism and sports officials, and representatives from related agencies.
Twelve events planned from March to July
Officials confirmed that a total of 12 events will be organised across all eight districts of the province, running continuously from March to July. The programme will include fun runs, health walks, trail running competitions and a commemorative cycling event.
The Deputy Governor emphasised the importance of coordination between agencies to ensure safety, smooth logistics and a positive experience for participants and visitors. Organisers are working to finalise routes, venues and registration details in the coming weeks.
The RUN KHAN DO event has become a regular fixture on the provincial sporting calendar, promoting exercise, community participation and tourism. By hosting events in every district, organisers aim to encourage residents and visitors to explore different parts of Prachuap Khiri Khan while taking part in physical activity.
CCC application to reward participants
This year, organisers will introduce a new CCC (Calories Credit Challenge) application system. The platform will allow participants to accumulate credits based on their activity and enter prize draws for special rewards.
Officials said the initiative is designed to encourage continued participation throughout the series, rather than focusing on a single event. Souvenirs and prizes will be linked to the CCC system, adding a competitive and interactive element to the programme.
