Museo Auto Classica Hua Hin is welcoming visitors to Blúport Hua Hin with a curated collection of more than 40 classic and collectible cars, bringing decades of automotive design together under one roof.

Located on the second floor of Blúport Hua Hin, Museo Auto Classica Hua Hin is open daily from 11am to 8pm. The attraction, presented by Bangchak, combines vintage motoring with themed display areas that move from 1950s roadsters through to modern high-performance models.

The layout encourages visitors to walk through different eras and brands, with vehicles grouped by legacy and style rather than arranged as a conventional showroom. Organisers say the aim is to appeal to car enthusiasts, families and casual visitors alike.

Alongside the vehicles, the venue also features an art gallery displaying works by Thailand’s National Artists and other respected senior artists, adding a cultural element to the automotive focus.

Mercedes-Benz SL Legacy at Museo Auto Classica Hua Hin

One of the centrepieces of Museo Auto Classica Hua Hin is the Mercedes-Benz SL Legacy zone, which presents a complete run of seven generations from the 1950s to the present day.

The line-up begins with a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (W121) and includes the 1969 280 SL “Pagoda” (W113), followed by later models such as the 450 SL (R107), SL 500 variants from the R129 and R230 generations, the SL 400 (R231), and culminating in the 2023 Mercedes-AMG SL 55 4MATIC+ (R232).

The display highlights how the SL evolved over time, from chrome-accented classic roadsters to more technologically advanced performance cars.

The Miata Legacy and iconic cars from film

Another section traces all four generations of the Mazda MX-5, widely known as the Miata. The exhibition includes the early NA model with its distinctive pop-up headlights, followed by NB and NC versions, and a later ND edition, including a 30th Anniversary model.

A separate area focuses on cars associated with major films. Among them are a BMW Z8 linked to the James Bond franchise, a BMW i8 connected to the Mission: Impossible series, and a Porsche 928 S4 associated with Risky Business.

Additional displays include classic grand tourers, limousines and Rolls-Royce models, broadening the appeal beyond sports cars alone.

Museo Auto Classica Hua Hin adds a new indoor attraction to Blúport’s offering, giving residents and visitors the chance to see rare and recognisable models up close. Further details can be found at https://museoautoclassica.com/
