World Car Free Day in Hua Hin brought around 30 cyclists together for an easy-paced ride of approximately 20 km as part of the Why Hua Hin? community series.
Organised by Adventure Cycling Thailand in collaboration with Hua Hin Today, the ride set off from Khao Takiab and explored quieter roads and local attractions around Hua Hin and Khao Tao.
The route included stops at Suan Son, Khao Tao, Wat Tham Khao Tao, Khao Tao Reservoir and the Khao Tao Weaving Centre. Participants then cycled back together for drinks and light snacks.
Along the way, there was time to chat, meet new people and explore parts of the area that riders might otherwise pass by.
The ride was the latest in the Why Hua Hin? community series, which brings people together through running, hiking, cycling, food, wellness, nightlife and other local experiences.
The activities are taking place in the lead-up to Why Hua Hin? The Hua Hin Expo 2026, which will be held on 14 and 15 November at Bluport Hua Hin.
