Bangkok – Ms. Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), announced a key initiative marking the 74th anniversary of the Department—the project to promote the image and public awareness of DITP’s role, known as “DITP EXPO 2026.” The initiative aims to systematically communicate the Department’s roles, mission, and achievements to the public through exhibitions and activities that highlight the potential of Thai products and services, along with strategic directions for driving Thailand’s trade and service sectors toward sustainable development. The event will take place from 11–13 March 2026 at the multipurpose hall, 3rd floor, Ministry of Commerce, with the official opening ceremony scheduled for 12 March 2026, presided over by Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Minister of Commerce. The target audience for the event includes the general public, Thai entrepreneurs, exporters and importers, SMEs and startups, businesses and industries involved in trade, logistics, transportation, and supply chain service providers, as well as trade associations, industrial councils, government agencies, relevant organizations, and members of the media.

At the event, attendees will be introduced to “The Next Step of DITP” through presentations on key tools and strategic directions. Highlights include the launch of new financial packages from EXIM Bank to support expansion into international markets, the adoption of AI technology to analyze trade data, and the enhancement of Thaitrade.com  in collaboration with the Thai National Shippers’ Council to strengthen the efficiency of connecting Thai trade opportunities to global markets.

At the same time, the event features a dedicated Showcase Zone where the public and entrepreneurs can gain a deeper understanding of DITP through exhibitions highlighting the Department’s history, services, and key achievements. The showcase also presents information on prestigious awards and certification marks such as the PM Award, DEmark, T-Mark, and Thai SELECT. In addition, a product exhibition under the theme “THINK THAILAND: NEXT LEVEL” will demonstrate the advancement of Thai products that embody creativity, innovation, and high quality.

Visitors can enjoy the Premium Export Product Showcase, featuring more than 120 booths from leading Thai entrepreneurs. The zone offers a wide selection of goods across categories such as agriculture and food, industrial products, fashion and lifestyle, health and beauty, franchise businesses, and licensed merchandise from Thai character brands.

The event also features a wide range of workshops and skill‑building activities, including makeup tutorials, essential oil making, Thai massage product crafting, inhaler making, Thai board game trials, keychain and pin embroidery, and various DIY crafts. In addition, visitors can enjoy meet‑and‑greet sessions with celebrities, artists, and influencers who will help bring excitement and energy to the event throughout its duration.DITP EXPO 2026 serves as a key platform that entrepreneurs should not miss, as it builds upon DITP’s systematic approach to supporting Thai businesses. The initiative begins with the development of a “Contemporary Thai Image” strategy under the concept Thai to Global: From local value to global vision, aimed at empowering entrepreneurs who leverage creativity and innovation to elevate Thai products and services.

Aligned with DITP’s commitment to “equipping entrepreneurs with essential knowledge”, the initiative offers training programs, seminars, and online learning through the E‑Academy, as well as the Young Exporter development program (YELG). This is followed by providing “a showcase platform” for entrepreneurs to present their capabilities via Thaitrade.com, Thailand’s official B2B marketplace. The support framework concludes with expanding international trade opportunities by strengthening global recognition of Thai products and services through standards and certification marks such as the PM’s Export Award, T Mark, DEmark, and Thai SELECT, enhancing credibility and creating tangible opportunities for global trade negotiations.
