As global trade moves into an era of volatility— “a period that is difficult to predict yet impossible to avoid” —entrepreneurs can no longer compete on price alone. Success now depends on the clarity of a brand’s identity, the speed of adaptation, and the ability to create added value that elevates Thai products and services to better meet the demands of international markets. This context has prompted the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), under the Ministry of Commerce, to move forward with organizing DITP EXPO 2026 in celebration of its 74th anniversary. The event aims to systematically communicate the Department’s roles, missions, and achievements to the public through exhibitions and activities that showcase the potential of Thai products and services, alongside strategies for advancing sustainable trade. It serves as a centralized hub of tools and networks, enabling SMEs and startups to clearly see tangible opportunities and pathways for entering international markets. The event will take place from 11–13 March 2026 at the multipurpose hall, 3rd floor, Ministry of Commerce, with the official opening ceremony scheduled for 12 March 2026, presided over by Mrs. Suphajee Suthumpun, Minister of Commerce. The target audience for the event includes the general public, Thai entrepreneurs, exporters and importers, SMEs and startups, businesses and industries involved in trade, logistics, transportation, and supply chain service providers, as well as trade associations, industrial councils, government agencies, relevant organizations, and members of the media.

Participants will also be introduced to DITP’s key forward‑looking initiatives, including the launch of new financial packages from EXIM Bank to support expansion into international markets, the adoption of AI technologies to analyze trade data, and the enhancement of Thaitrade.com  in collaboration with the Thai National Shippers’ Council.Visitors can learn more about DITP through the Showcase Exhibition, which presents the Department’s history, services, and key achievements, along with information on prestigious awards and certification marks such as the PM Award, DEmark, T-Mark, and Thai SELECT—important trust signals that enhance the credibility of Thai products in both domestic and international markets.

Attendees can also enrich their knowledge through expert talks and a variety of workshops and skill‑building activities, including makeup tutorials, essential oil making, Thai massage product crafting, inhaler making, Thai board game trials, and a wide range of DIY crafts. The event will also feature appearances by well‑known celebrities, artists, and influencers who will add vibrancy and excitement throughout the exhibition.Another highlight of the event is the Premium Export Product Showcase, featuring more than 120 booths offering high‑quality export products from Thai entrepreneurs. The zone spans a wide range of categories, including agricultural products, food and beverages, industrial goods, fashion and lifestyle items, health and beauty products, franchise businesses, and licensed merchandise from Thai character brands.

Visitors can also explore fresh ideas and new innovations through a curated selection of products and services developed under the THINK THAILAND: NEXT LEVEL concept, which emphasizes value creation through design, innovation, and creativity, demonstrating the next‑level capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs.DITP EXPO 2026 marks another milestone inviting entrepreneurs and the general public to discover new opportunities, knowledge, and inspiration, empowering them to build brands driven by creativity and innovation, and to stay resilient amid the rapid changes of today’s global trade landscape.

  • DITP EXPO serves as a key platform and mechanism for systematically developing entrepreneurs and elevating Thai products and services across four dimensions: Crafting a “Contemporary Thai Image” strategy under the concept “Thai to Global”: From local value to global vision,” driven by creativity and innovation. This approach aligns with the direction of modern brands, startups, and new‑generation entrepreneurs who often begin with ideas, design, and experience, building contemporary brand identities while enhancing Thai wisdom and transforming it into higher‑value offerings.
  • Equipping Entrepreneurs with Knowledge, From Local to Global. This pillar focuses on strengthening the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs to operate effectively in international markets by providing upskilling and reskilling opportunities that keep pace with global trade dynamics. Support is delivered through training programs, seminars, and online learning via the E‑Academy. A clear example is the Young Exporter from Local to Global (YELG) program, a free training initiative designed to enhance the potential of SMEs and new exporters nationwide. The program equips participants with essential knowledge in international trade and brand building, enabling them to expand confidently from the local level to the global market.
  • Providing a “Showcase Platform” to drive Thaitrade, Thailand’s official B2B marketplace established by DITP under the Ministry of Commerce, which connects Thai sellers, particularly SMEs, with buyers around the world.
  • Strengthening international trade opportunities is another key focus, with DITP enhancing global recognition of Thai products and services through the establishment of standards and certification marks that build trust. These include the PM’s Export Award, which honors outstanding exporters; the Thailand Trust Mark (T Mark), which reinforces the credibility of Thai products and services in global markets; the Design Excellence Award (DEmark), recognizing excellence in design; and Thai SELECT, which certifies authentic Thai cuisine and quality Thai food establishments and products.

DITP also continues to promote strategic campaigns in key international markets and organizes various international expos, creating additional channels for new‑generation entrepreneurs to access global opportunities. All of these initiatives form part of DITP’s ongoing efforts under the THINK THAILAND: Next Level campaign, an initiative that goes far beyond brand image. It serves as both a spotlight and a support system that enables new‑generation entrepreneurs to move from the local stage to the global arena in a tangible, sustainable way.
