The InterContinental – B.Grimm Beach Polo 2025 took place on Saturday on the beachfront of the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, drawing spectators to a day of competitive polo, fashion, and charitable fundraising.
Now in its 14th year, the event featured four international teams representing Thailand, Hong Kong, Belgium and Germany. As the only tournament of its kind in Asia, the beach polo competition once again offered a unique combination of sport and social occasion.
The tournament was honoured by the presence of H.E. Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister, who delivered the opening speech. The teams competed for the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati, the Princess Rajasarinisiribajra.
The day began with a buffet lunch and sponsor activity booths, followed by a fashion show on horseback. Polo matches were held throughout the afternoon, with guests enjoying the sea views and lively atmosphere.
The event brought together athletes from Thailand and abroad to compete in the largest beach polo tournament in Asia. The atmosphere was filled with fun, excitement, and grandeur, as spectators and visitors enjoyed the colourful and thrilling matches on the beach.
The tournament concluded with the “Sea Breeze Garden Party,” where attendees gathered for an evening reception featuring a performance by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to its charitable aims, the tournament also serves to promote tourism and boost the local economy, positioning Hua Hin as a world-class tourist destination.
