Race categories and purpose

Nakhon Hua Hin Run 2026 was organised by the Hua Hin Sports Association in cooperation with Hua Hin City Municipality and with support from other sectors. Organisers said the event was intended to encourage people to make constructive use of their free time, promote exercise as a way of keeping young people away from drugs, and help boost the local economy ahead of the Songkran holiday.
The event featured three categories: a 5km fun run, a 10.5km mini-marathon and a 3km VIP run. Trophies were awarded to the top five finishers in each age group in the 5km and 10.5km races.
The route took runners around Khao Tao Reservoir and attracted both Thai and international participants. Proceeds from Nakhon Hua Hin Run 2026 will be used by the Hua Hin Sports Association to support local sports clubs across the district.
