Weekly checks on the Hua Hin beachfront demolition will begin on 9 October, with municipal officials scheduled to visit the site every Friday to monitor progress.
The demolition covers buildings between Hua Hin Fishing Pier and the Chao Mae Thap Thim Shrine along Nares Damri Road.
The arrangements were confirmed at a meeting on 30 September, following the Supreme Administrative Court’s final ruling requiring the beach area to be handed back.

Municipal officials will conduct their first site visit on Friday 9 October, followed by another on Friday 16 October. The following week’s visit will take place on Thursday 22 October because Friday 23 October is a public holiday.
According to Hua Hin Municipality, demolition is to be completed within a 120-day period running from 25 September 2026 to 22 January 2027. The weekly visits will help officials track progress and ensure the work proceeds in accordance with the court ruling.
Building owners who wish to demolish their structures themselves must submit a written request notifying the municipality.
For buildings where demolition has not been carried out and no written notification has been submitted, the municipality said it would enforce the ruling by assigning its contracted private company to complete the demolition within the stated period.
The meeting was chaired by Hua Hin Assistant District Officer Kiatipong Phonsuwan and attended by Mayor Nopporn Wutthikul, municipal councillors and representatives of relevant agencies, including the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Land Office and the Provincial Electricity Authority.
